8800GTS or 8800GTX by
news.qwest.net
Guys,
I am building a new system and am up to deciding which video card.
Price isn't the limitor but the GTX is ~11" long which would go right into
my drive bays so is it worth the extra performance to loose a drive or two?
I am looking forward to playing UT2k7 and Crysis.
I would like to play...

Downgraded to 93.71 and the problem went away.
Is their something, when downgrading, I should have done other than

install them, there is still a warning that they are not Windows certified.
Dxdiag also lists them as non-certified. Anyone else having the same problem

huge heatsink in MSI GeForce 7600GT by
carrera d'olbani
This is the MSI nVidia GeForce 7600GT card which I bought for my
gaming PC. Just look how big is the heatsink. I have never seen it
before on the video cards which are sold in the West. In the
beginning, I thought it was a forged card made cheaply, but now I have
found it on the official MSI site...

PCI - E card by
Mick[_4_]
I had to swap my motherboard out - so took advantage of an Asus board
with PCI-E.
I bought an Xpert Vision GeForce7600GT video card - PCI-E version.
Once I got it in the slot, I noticed the small set of contacts on the
top edge - suggesting an additional power source?
Am I right? Anybody know what...

I keep reading on different misc. hardware review sites that DirectX 10 will

this new hardware? I know that Vista will supposedly make great use of
DX10. Also, many of the review sites make reference to quotes from ATI...

Any nVidia 7900s With 1 GB VRAM? by
Will
Does any manufacturer make an nVidia 7900 with 1 GB of VRAM on board? I
know the 7950 GX2 uses 1 GB, but that is actually two 512 MB cards, and the
memory is split across two GPUs. I need the 1 GB of VRAM all dedicated to
a single GPU.
Is there some technical limitation in the current...

MB+CPU+RAM=$321.ish) to take advantage of it. (I'm looking into Eve

AARRGGH still performance issues by

Hi again. I've posted this issue before, got good response but the
problem did not go away...
*THE ISSUE*
The issue is performance, noticable in 3D programs such as games or

Bishop
Ok, say u can get both for the same price, which is best?
What i've heard:-
Some 7900gt have issues like artifacts from a heat prob.
x1900xt is really noisy, hot and eats power...and faster in some things
Kinda stuck here...I think i prefer nvidia products the majority of the
time...
