i have a matsonic ms8308e motherboard - socket a i replace a 1.2 duron with a 1.8 duron. when i went to intall th operating system ino the system. the install would get about 20% done. then stop. the mouse works. tried several times. ran scandisk on the hard drive. no problem.

When I boot the new computer I have just built the processor says it is 1.3Ghz In system it also says this, it is supposed to be a 3Ghz Barton core, am I right in thinking I have been sent the wrong processor?
