Bootable CD ROM Drive by Bruce Lee
I've got an old CDROM drive (6/7 years) in an old PC which doesn't boot when "Boot from CDROM" is set in BIOS. Is this because of BIOS or do some CDROM drives just not want to boot? The reason for this is I want to use the old drive with a new system and need it to boot a WinXP cd or Linux cd.

ddr2 = dual channel ddr? by Jon Davis
Is Dual Channel DDR equivalent to DDR2? If so, is DDR2 800 equivalent to "Dual Channel DDR 400", or would that be DDR2 400? I ask the latter because my K8N Neo4 Platinum motherboard was SUPPOSED to support the latest and greatest of everything, but I was unimpressed by its supposed "support for...

Are dual core CPUs worth it? by Random Person
Hi guys. At the moment, as we all know, dual core processors are much more expensive than their single core counterparts. My question is whether it is worth getting dual core processors, even IF they were in a similar price range to single cores. For example, take a look at the benchmark results...

Hard disc recovery by mike o'sullivan
I had a recent disater when, possibly due to a faulty motherboard, the boot sector became inaccessible. Before I admit defeat and re-format the HD, is there any software which would enable me to recover the data? I had just loaded my daughter's wedding pics so I'm desperate.
