Hi all,
I hope someone can shed some light on this, I've downloaded and updated with
the "official" f10 bios. I can finally use easyTune4, for all but the
multiplier settings...

GA KNXP IDE cable missing? by
IMConfused
Does this board come with an IDE cable with a white
end to match the white port? I received the cable with
the red end, and two yellow cables, but not one with white.
I don't need it, just want what's coming to me. TIA

Insert system dusk and press enter
I think my BIOS is either corrupt (virus?) or damaged. A new battery did
nothing. I also cannot flash it...

What could be the matter?
Thanks a lot

I'm retiring in a few days and my wife & children are

For months now I've read reviews and also been a part of

Is Intel 440 Chipset Compatible with XP Pro? by
John
I have a 440BX with Win XP Pro on it, and I've never seen the type of errors
you are talking about.
If you get a brand new drive, make sure you use it as your main drive
because it's going to be way faster than your old drive. Use Norton Ghost's
DiskToDisk option to make a clone copy of the old...

Noisy 7VAXP NB fan by
tHatDudeUK
My pc has started getting noisy over the past month. I'm pretty certain it's
the MOBO's NB fan... It seems to happen whenever the PC has been turned off
for a while and weirdly stops just about when the system has got into
windows.
Can I remove this safely? Is there a good way of replacing the HS...

Best Nforce Ultra 400 ? Giga-byte, Asus, Abit, or MSI + why? by
C. Stuart McKendrick, III
I went through this same decision a few months ago. After reading a lot of
reviews, the nod went to the Asus A7N8X Deluxe. Some of the deciding factors
we Top performance compared with other NF2 boards, stability, inclusion
of mounting holes for aftermarket HSFs (Asus is the only one out of the...

Best Nforce Ultra 400 ? Giga-byte, Asus, Abit, or MSI + why? by
Mark H
I buy Abit just for the a.)bios b.)bios-support. No other manufacturer
supports their product as well. There's already 8 bios releases for
Version 2.0. I owned the KT7a - and there's still product support past
it's prime. They never ducted the capacitor issue either, lol, course
this group beat...

Wondering if this is something to worry about: if I restart my computer

close), but it continues right through startup, loading WinXP, and stops

I managed to shoehorn the stick in bank0/slot1 past the HSF and installed

tests showed no errors for the new memory, so the error on Test 5 occurs
only when all four sticks are installed. I am...

RAID question by
crw
Why do so many domestic users seem to opt for RAID systems with all its
inherent expense and complication? Isn't it still easier (and safer) to back
up critical data to CD-ROM, DVD-ROM or similar, and be sure to have an
archive totally independent from one's PC?
