p4c800 udma-2 or 5? by
[email protected]
Using bios 1006 (i think)
When I turn on the Enhanced IDE mode my western digital drives on the
regular IDE port come up as udma-2 not 5. In Compatability mode they
come up as udma-5. What's up with that?
Not only that_ the drive performance sucks.

It seems the 1012.004 bios is 400 Mhz too low
in reporting the type of processor...
Odd.
Agree. And how could something so glaring "off" have made it by the
beta testers? I'm seeing the same exact problem Stephane has reported
and. I think, also the 400mhz issue you have found. (I have the...

I have a doubt about MHz of motherboard. by
Fogar
I use DVRex RT and I'd like to build a new PC..
Now I have a doubt about motherboard and the processor: INTEL Pentium
IV 2,8 GHz FSB 800 MHz and ASU P4B533 (845E chip) motherboard. Are
they a good couple?
Does the ASU P4B533 work fine with that processor (800 MHz)?
Does that motherboard support...

Asus A7N8X Deluxe questions by
Lenroc
1. I also have the A7N8X deluxe, and I noticed the same thing. I kinda
figured it's the PCB2.0, Rev 1.xx... As in, now that the PCB is at 2.0, they
can still do new revisions of it.... maybe that's not correct, but that's
what I went with ;)
2&3. Sorry, no help.

NF7-S vs. A7N8X by
Dave Hau
Sorry if this has been asked numerous times before, but I'm looking for an
updated answer...
I'm pondering over the same deep eternal question of mankind:
A7N8X or NF7-S?
Their prices differ by only 8 bucks at newegg, hence the difficult decision.
(a7n8x = $130; nf7-s = $123).

A7N8x Deluxe - Want SATA to boot before IDE - Anyone? by
Paul H
On the A7V8X there is a specific Bios choice of booting from SATA first, as
well as setting it as the first boot option in the boot sequence. They are
not on the same BIOS page. Is it the same with your mobo?

differences P4P800/P4P800 DL ? by
Scott
My mistake about the Promsie part. That part is on the P4C800 Deluxe. The
P4P800 Deluve uses the VIA IDE RAID.
You might think the VIA IDE RAID works OK, but read the reviews. It blows
chunks. Big chunks. High CPU usage, only fair performance. Probably
doesn't work right with some...
