booting up @ all. Its a abit kt7e mobo, with a amd 1.2 ghz cpu. When I turn

worked into the price somehow.

I'm assuming the first is more expensive - I wouldn't say its worth $30

Passive Cooling by
J. VerSchave
Greetings,
I would like to run a Linux server from my apartment... my one catch,
I want it to be COOLED COMPLETELY PASSIVELY. My apartment is small
and I do not want to constantly be hearing the fans whirring. The box
doesnt have to be super fast. I just need something ~1 Ghz that
supports the...

ATX backplate by
Silence Seeker
Is it only me who never experienced an easy installation of those ATX
backplates?
I have built quite a few PCs in my lifetime (including those original
PC XTs...), but my experience with MECHANICALLY fitting ATX
motherboards into a case so that both the standoffs holes and the
backplate fit - is...

Do you build on demand or have a stock? by
jm
Do you have an inventory or kinda just wait until somebody asks you for a
PC? It looks like I have to have a little faith if I decide to really
persue building PCs for people and start picking up good buys as the come
along. A lot of good buys in the circulars around here.
I might get burned...

Mr. Scary
Replace the northbridge fan with a zalman northbridge heat sink. My
ga-7va northbridge fan died in the first week (died = got noisy prior to
failing).

Please help:
My desktop sustained what I thought to be minor damage when I lost power a

fried my power supply. With my new PS, I can't get anything to "fire up".
I thought the power switch might have gotten a bit of a...
