I am about to purchase a Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro 2 (Rev2.0) with a AMD XP 3200
Barton 400fsb.
Is the AGP voltage ok with a 9700 Pro? (slightly confused over the AGP
voltage settings).

glitch, went ahead and installed windows and drivers etc.
THEN
i was looking in the manual for something and noticed the +12v power
connector and it says that the bord will not boot if this is not connected.

Got my lovely new PC yesterday (K8NF-9 nForce4). However there is an
annoying problem. When I use a USB mouse with my PS/2 keyboard, the

My qs are as follows;
1. how does the motherboard calculates the rpm of fan(s)
2. the votages are given like this +5V, +12V etc and these start from
zero thats wht i think. but the motherboard show from -3.22V to +5 V.
my qs is if the negative side increases does it have some kinda of

GA-7VT600-L, I know the chipset (VIA KT600) supports sata, but on this board

I have a new GA-81915g pro mb. When i boot up knoppix on cd-rom, I get a steady beep from the on-board speaker. A steady
tone all the while knoppix is loaded. Even when I boot up fedora, it get a brief tone - more than a beep , but less than

It is made by ThermalTake, has standard 2 screws, but the backplate itself,
is double sided taped to the back of the motherboard. And GOOD quality

Whenever I try to change any BIOS setting and save, re-boot, the system
hangs before the memory check...
Only way out is to flip the CMOS battery out and back-in - then I'm back to

I have a Belkin F5U005 USB card and when I try to connect my ADSL modem it
will not work...
