BenQ FP731 colour depth problem by Simon
I am running the latest drivers for my onboard NVidia GPU and BenQ FP731 LCD screen, however I cannot run at 32-bit colour at 1280x1024. To get that colour depth I have to drop to the non-native 1024x768 resolution. Are there any solutions out there??

BenQ FP767 by teddee
Does anyone own the BenQ FP767? How do you find it for gaming? Also BenQ itself list the contrast ratio of 500:1 while some review sites have listed this monitor at 400:1, which is the correct spec?

I just bought a Belkin 2-Port KVM Switch with Audio Support and Built-In Cabling, PS/2. The manual says it supports LCD monitors with the use of an adapter cable. I connected an IBM ThinkPad laptop and a PC desktop to the KVM which is hooked up to my BenQ FP91G LCD monitor. The laptop desktop is...

I've got a BenQ LS DW1655 DVDRW drive (latest firmware) installed in my Windows MCE 2005 PC that is supposed to support Lightscribe. The Cover Designer built into Nero 7 Ultra Edition won't give me the options to burn a lightscribe label. I know that this software should provide this...

I have a Benq FP 767 monitor which is Plug and Play, and appears to be working fine. However, in an attempt to go ahead and install the correct driver, I get a message saying "Microsoft Strongly recommends" that I do not install it, since it does not meet the XP seal of approval. It says XP...

BEON Power Supply Replacement or new fan? by Glenn Fincher
I have a BEON (made by CompUSA/Storm) that has a bad fan on the Power Supply. The result is that the system runs approximately 5 minutes then shuts down (presumably because of heat). Does anyone know the source for a replacement Power Supply (CompUSA doesn't seem to have any), OR is there some...

Best 17" LCD Resolution? by Thunder9
What's the best native resolution for a 17" LCD monitor? I read that a lot of people who have 15" monitors like that to be 1024 X 768. But then I read that most people with 17" monitors also like that resolution. That kind of doesn't make sense to me... If a person likes 1024 X 768 for a 15"...

Best add-in PCI SATA RAID card? by Cyde Weys
I'm doing incremental improvements on my computer. I'm waiting for socket 939 CPUs and mobos to come down in price, but before then, I'll be adding some hard drive space. I'm looking to go with SATA (I'm tired of those damn ribbon cables!). The only problem is, my current mobo doesn't support...

Best budget P4 board (sub £100) for overclocking? by Perdita X. Dream
On board LAN is necessary, RAID would be good and I assume that USB2 ports are standard on most boards these days? I am NOT bothered about on board sound/graphics, having a 9800 Pro and an Audigy 2 but, to my mind an NIC is just a waste of a slot, when you can buy boards with it integrated. It...
