2. Where may I obtain information on the SA 6500? I didn't see...

Proliant 1600 second CPU ? by
Dirk
Hello esteemed group,
I have a Proliant 1600 with a P2 350 MHz Slot 1 processor.
I have another P2 Slot 1 processor of 450 MHz.
Is it possible to use them both or do they have to be of the same
speed?
Any problems when running Linux on it?
Thanks in advance,
Dirk

Proliant 5500 P12 PII unit CPU question by
Tim
Hello,
I have a Compaq Proliant 5500 which came from the factory with (4) 450Mhz
PII XEON processors.
I recently purchased (4) 700Mhz PIII Xeon's and wanted to see if they would
work in this machine. I know the 450's and 700's use the same 2.8v
electrical rating so I am assuming the VRM's are ok....

I have to configure RAID on Proliant 6000 Xeon box.
The RAID card that was pitched in Proliant 6000 documentation is 3100ES

Right now I have SmartArray 3200. I want to know if that is compatible with
the Proliant 6000.
The issue I am running...

Solution: SYSTYPE returns "unable to determine system ID" on HP/Compaq server by
Jamie Morrison
