BX6 2.0 processor speed problem by Wim
Mobo: BX6 2.0 Processor: PII MMX 233Mhz OS: Win98SE This processor did very well with the original LX mobo on 300Mhz. But with the current BX mobo it won't get higher than 233MHZ. If I force it via Softmenu II the computer won't boot. Any ideas on what's wrong and how to correct it?

sg-72 makes system feel unresponsive by Andy Balaam
Hi All, Apologies if there is an faq or message that answers my question, but I've been unable to find it if so. My old motherboard broke, so I went out to PC World and bought a new abit SG-72, which I thought would probably slot straight in and work as a replacement. It works fine, but it feels...

AN-7 design issue by fhtyer jfiufr
Don't get me wrong, I love my AN7, even purchased a new one to replace the failed one. I use a heatsink that uses the 4 holes around the processor for attachment. I installed it using new fiber washers / metal counter sunk (cone head) screws like I had on other boards. Over the course of several...

Flashmenu by Martin
Hi. Downloaded Flashmenu for my KR7A-RAID. Every time I run it, as soon as I run it, I lose connectivity on my Blueyonder cable connection and have to reboot. When I click the button on the lower left to update step by step, the phrase "Handler Created!" appears above the progress bar. I've...

Is my Abitr AV8 Pro hosed? by Hank Barta
I've been trying to install Linux on this for a couple of days now and have met with little success. I've been working mostly with Debian. A 32 bit install went pretty well except that it did not detect the built in dethernet chip so I'm using an ancient Tulip based card. It works fine with the 32...

I believe my battery is about to give up. The symptoms are the system clock loses time while the PC is switched off. The board is an Abit BE6-II (early version). I assume the corrrect thing to do would be to record the CMOS data, change the battery, and then re-enter the data. But where do I get a...
