Lots of questions, so bear with me guys!! I just bought a Compaq Prolian 3000 from a local junk shop for $30.00. It has (2) PII 333mhz chips and I think 512mb of ram. There are no harddrives or trays, but it has redundent fans and power supplies. It seems to boot OK and has a SCSI card in it also....

Hi, i test with my Proliant 3000 a lot. But I badly need a floppy disk to configure the Smart Array Controller 3200, cause the SmartStart Cd won't boot and no OS is installed. On the HP Homepage there only disks for Windows, but not vor without windows. Any help? Cheers,

Dear list, i use an old Proliant 3000, but i've a Problem. I've read in the manual that i can configure the drives by pressing the f10 button when its prompted. But it is never prompted. The Server starts, searchs for scsi devices and ready. Any ideas?? cheers, coffi
