Time for me to go back to NVIDIA video cards? by
Ant[_3_]
Hello.
In the past, I was a NVIDIA video card user up to 8800 GT (PCIe).
However, I stopped using their video cards and drivers because they
dropped the fullscreen TV overlays for CRT TVs (I use S-video+composite
cables and adapter connected to Toshiba W-627 VCR to a January 1996

Skybuck's review of GTC 2013 key note. by
Skybuck Flying[_7_]
Hello,
The GTC 2013 keynote wasn't as exciting as previous years, it was actually
quite boring except for a few nice things and even one slightly exciting
thing.
Many items were discussed which were already presented last year, like path
tracing/ray tracing, car sales, remote visualization and...

Windows 2003 is the server version of Windows XP. We have never had any
problem installing GEForce drivers for Windows XP on Windows 2003. Today
we tried to install a GT430 on a Dell Precision 380 running Windows 2003
Server. Soon after starting, the installer fails and complains that it...

Enhancing Web Video W/Current Geforces? by
Ed Light
Awhile back I got a geforce GT 240 and found that it's sharpening and
contrast enhancements did not reach web videos. I sent it back for a
Radeon 4670, which works perfectly. In the latest drivers, you have to
turn this on - the default is off.
The Radeon reaches most videos, certainly Flash...

"the melt gun" by
Skybuck Flying[_7_]
Possible new idea for a weapon in (first person) shooters:
"The melt gun"
It would fire electron particles at targets which would nullify atomic
attraction force which would cause object to fall apart and seem to "melt".
This should be able to be achieved with vertex/geometry shaders to make it...

I saw on tunggle that this game was very populair so I played it for a

I am now convinced that "Call of Duty 5: World at War Multiplayer Co-ops
against Zombies" especially the "the reise" level/map is the most awesome
action game ever.
At least when it comes to weapons,...

If yes, would you kindly tell me how to solve it?
