Hi all, I am a bit curious about the time needed to see the first screen at cold boot (after a power-off at the back of PC ). I would appreciate any information about whether any of you have the same problem or not. I have a Sapphire 9600XT on a Gigabyte 8IK1100 (i865 chip), which will only show...

Cat 3.10 still crashing with COD. by ChipHead
Hi All, I have a AIW 8500. I had Cat 3.9 with the ATI patch to fix crashes in Call Of Duty. Everything worked perfectly with CAT 3.9 and ATI's COD fix. The COD fix ATI posted seemed like a BETA of CAT 3.10. Anyway, after upgrading to CAT 3.10, the crashes are back again! Has anyone seen this...

Hercules 3D Prophet 9800PRO won't run at 8X by Mike
Hi, For some reason my Hercules 9800PRO doesn't appear to be running in 8X mode. I'm using the latest omega drivers and the SMARTGART is showing the card running at 4X. When I move the slider to 8X and reboot it won't stay. My motherboard, SOYO KT400 Dragon Ultra, will do 8X and I believe it is...

ATI MMC v8.8's MPEG-4 support & client for LAN streaming videos? by [email protected]
I noticed a new version 8.8 and installed it to replace my v8.7 with the new drivers According to http://www2.ati.com/drivers/mmc88_release_notes.html#167244 .... EAZYSHARE lets you watch videos on LAN (client + server). Is it possible for non-ATI users to watch videos from the computers with...

All in Wonder Pro and Win2k? by Walter Cadek
Did anybody successfully install an AllInWonderPro card in a win2k system? The GraphicCard works OK, but I was not able to install the MultimediaCenter to watch TV. The installation dialog hangs when selecting Cable or Antenna. The only option I get is "Quit Installation".

Thanks for the feedback concerning the possible benefits and issues related to the possible use of ATI's HDTV adapter with its RADEON All-In-Wonder Series cards to 'drive' an HDTV set. Based upon my research, there does appear to be a LOT of users experiencing OVERSCAN problems and well as SOME...

interpolation with black borders only left+right with widescreen by Michael Huhn
I have an Acer Aspire with a 1280*800 widescreen display. When I play games in 800*600, I can choose to play them 1:1, which is extremely small or to stretch it to full size, which is biased and looks terrible. Is it possible to let the ATI driver (or whatever 3rd party thing) stretch the image...

Dual Display with Slackware 9.1 / XFree86 4.3.0 & Radeon 9800 Pro by Venadium
I am having problems getting dual display to work correctly. It seems no matter which options I use in fglrxconfig, the second screen is always a clone of the primary. But it's not entirely a clone, as I can still move the mouse between screens, and drag windows between them, but anything displayed...
