I've got Gigabyte GA-81915G PRO motherboard and on-board sound C-Media

Recently I installed TV Tuner AverMedia 303/403. Unfortunately I can't
hear any sound from my speakers. I checked TV Tuner's audio-out and
it's working properly. When I connect Tv Tuner's audio-out by cable to

Motherboard not correctly recognising CPU by
farco
Quick question folks.
A mate of mine has a QX9650 and an Asus Striker Extreme motherboard.
However, the motherboard does not seem to take full advantage of the sheer power of the CPU. Upon startup, it says the BIOS requires an update to take full advantage of the CPU. When I run the asus update...

Gigabyte GA-MA69GM-S2H Motherboard by
farco
I'm trying to find this mobo, and i went to Gigabyte's website to look at the various web retailers that it says carry this and not a single one does. The only thing i can find is Tweaktown's review back in April and the recommendation by this month's issue of Computer Shopper. I do not want the...

GA-7N400V Pro2 - any good? by
farmer
you don't want it. This board really sucks. You have to have top grade
memory, it has trouble seeing your hard drives, and there are too many
options for setting up different hard drives, too hard to disable the ones
you don't intend to use. The drivers are a curse, if you use the ones that
come...

Recovering from Xpress Recovery by
FelixC
Just a note for anyone wanting to remove Xpress Recovery from their
hard drive, so you won't have to repeat the same research as I did:
I experimented with Gigabyte's Xpress Recovery utility (included in
the BIOS of my 7N400Pro2 mb) shortly after I installed my new WinXP
system. It's supposed to...

Overclocking the GA-7N400Pro2 by
[email protected]
I haven't bothered trying any overclocking on my GA-7N400Pro2
motherboard since I got it a few years ago, but I put in some new
Kingston HyperX memory lately and did a few tests with nTune and
EasyTune, so I thought I'd pass along the information for anyone else
who's interested.
I'm using an AMD...

GA EP45-UD3P dual Gigabit Ethernet lost Mac Addresses-- again. by
Fishface[_2_]
For the second time, my EP45-UD3P has lost it's MAC addresses.
This occurred most recently after a windstorm caused power outage.
By flashing the BIOS with the QFLASH utility in the BIOS setup and
unchecking the option to keep DMI data, then loading BIOS defaults,
they came back. Solution was...

GA-K8N Pro - is there a +5V rail? by
Fitz
Neither the BIOS, nor Easy Tune 4 display a +5V monitor on this board. When
I use Motherboard Monitor 5, the +5V is very erratic (3.08V to 7V).
The core, 3.3 and 12 voltages all monitor within tolerance and steady. The
power supply is a new Antec TruePower 430W. Is there a dedicated 5V rail on
this...

f9 Bios for K8N Pro by

The new BIOS for the K8N Pro board seems to require a repair install of
WinXP after flashing. The website says it has a fix for a cpu voltage
problem. Seems like I should update, but what a pain the OS reinstall is.
Has anybody used the F9 and is there an improvement in performance. Is
anybody...
