is there any remedy for the low volume with this card. noticed a big difference from the sb128. Also is it possible to hook up spdif from a digital effects unit to the sb live spdif input for the cd. I might of heard that there was a difference in voltage.

What is the met file that playcenter creates when ripping? there is one for each song with the name. I use winamp to play back and dont experience any problems when deleted, but would like to know what they do for the playcenter.

The window appears automatically when I reboot the computer and I have to click on exit to get rid of it. There is nothing in the startup file. I have windows 2000. The autohide option is greyed out. How do I fix this? Should I reinstall? Thanks, Chuck
