BDH
I just tried to flash my bios again. F6 -F7 -F8
It will not boot. It gets thru the the raid boot process then updates the
changes ok. Then bam! 99's ocross the screen. Does this mean a reload of OS?
It recognizes my sata hdd's in the bios as ide 2master and ide 2 slave.
I actually have the option...

8KNXP - Temperature by
bdh
Normal use seems to average 50 celsius. When I run my ATI screen saver it
jumps into the 60's. Also the fan runs louder and louder as the load
increases. Should I reseat my CPU with new heat sync? I am currently using
silver heatsync. It has been running ok since I built it (3 months or so).

sata raid - 8knxp by
bdh
I could not get my sata raid array to work. It would not see the drives.
However I did get the intel array working.
I would like to use the sata raid though. But when I put my cables on the
sata I and II connectors it would not go into setup or boot.
Anyone else with this problem?

CPU temp conclusion by
bdh
3D Pipes - 46C, Aquarium 2 - 52C, ATI 9800 demo's and screen savers - 58C to
60C.
It would appear the 3D rendering of the ATI card can really heat the CPU up!

adding gigaraid array with existing ich5r by
BDH
I'm considering adding a stripe 1 array to the gigaraid controller on my
board which already has a sata raid 0 array on the ich5r controller.
I suspect it will go fine. Any suggestions or "tips" would be helpful.

BEAM
Based on all of the glowing reviews I was a day away from ordering
Abit's IC7 when I stumbled on their forum and found they had a serious
issue with their onboard sound. So now I'm looking again. These two
Gigabyte boards also seem to be very well rated. I have some questions:
- Are there any...
