HP nightmare? by
sebastian pons
Hi, I don't know if this goes here, but I just don't know where to post
it.
A couple of months ago I bought a All in One HP printer (F2280), and I
found out that the software, drivers+Help Center+Photosmart Essential,
provided on the CD would install till it hit 96%, would stop and give me
a error...

HP IIIP Paper pickup problem by
Will[_3_]
Ah, cork looking pad with a metal edge.
Found this okay (after taking the user parts apart!), lifts out - wiped
clean (damp cloth), wasn't dirty.
Reassembled and about the same.
So, do you think I need to replace this (pad unit c/w spring behind) - and
can I get such a part for the IIIP/canon...

Need help finding legal sized B&W laser printer by
Gary
Hi there,
I'm looking for an office laser printer, B&W only that will handle legal sized paper in a cartridge completely enclosed. I have seen them where when loaded with legal paper the paper sticks out of the front or out of the back. Because we have a dusty environment, I would like to get a...

Adjust Epson R320? by
[email protected]
I can't find any setting in Epson R320's 'PrintCD' program to correct
a slight mis-alignment of the printed label. The printed image is
offset vertically about 1/8".
Anyone have this problem and know how to fix it?
Thanks

Anyone still make a parallel printer? by
Guv Bob[_3_]
Anyone still make a plain old generic use printer to connect to a parallel port? Last good long-term printer I had was a Canon BJC-5100. Refilled the ink cartridges and used it for years until the mechanical parts started failing.
Also, this one printed on 11x17 paper which is nice when you're...

HP LaserJet 3000DN - jobs jamming in print que by
Al[_4_]
Gidday Folks,
Our little workgroup has a laserjet 3000DN connected to the router via
ethernet. Jobs sent to the printer from any of the computers seem to
be jamming the print que. You can try deleting the job but it doesnt
go away until you reboot - this happens on all the computers.
I have tried...

Old Hardwa Timeout Problems? by
Zach[_2_]
Hello, And thanks for reading.
I work for a community outreach center. Naturally we are underfunded
and we have obsolete technology. We have computers available for
people to use with printers, but the printer had stopped working
before I started working here.

Using Xerox Phaser 6200 Imager in 6250 by
rock
Hi,
I have both a 6200 and 6250 phaser printers. It looks like my 6200
might have a problem and I want to know if I can just move my drum
imager unit to the 6250.
They are exactly the same part anyway. My concern was whether the 6200
had written anything to the chip which may be a problem if...

HP Deskjet 6980 Color Cartridge by
Dave C.[_4_]
I have an HP6980 that uses the 97 color cartridge. I have refilled it
only two times and now I get an "blinking light" error and printer
will not print. I have done a hard, soft reset, system reboot to no
avail. Printer prints OK with only the black cartridge (96).
I have refilled the previous...

When do I start to suspect hardware problem on Photosmart 7550? by
DManzaluni
I have had this printer for a few years and it has never really worked
properly
Sometimes it manages to print properly and with proper colours but
consistency NEVER lasts, with the ink carts often drying out if left
for more than a few days
Recently however it has become even more infuriating. I...

Configuring Brother HL-5370DW under Linux by
JohnF[_5_]
Trying to configure a Brother HL-5370DW wireless printer
under Slackware 12.2 to talk to a Linksys WRT54G2 that's
using WPA-PSK(TKIP) encryption.
The 5370DW literature all says it supports TKIP, but
when I point a browser to the printer (using its wired
ethernet) and then click on its Network...

HP 940c black cartridge 90% but not printing by
spasmous2
After not using it for a couple months, I tried printing and the black
(#15 cartridge) is not giving me anything at all. The software tool
says its at 90% which is probably about right. The color is working
fine. I also have an old black cartrige which I swapped in - also did
not work. No idea how...

Recommendations for remanufactured cartridges by
Dave C.[_4_]
I need a new HP97 color cartridge and considering a remanufactured one
rather than a brand new one. What has been the experience with these
vs new ones?
Whatever I get, I would refill it myself as needed.
Thanks,
Dave C

HP IIIP Paper pickup problem by
Will[_3_]
Hi (again), my trusty HP laserjet IIIP is having 'issues' with the paper
pickup from the auxilary A4 tray.
When used from the self loading tray (in-built) it seems to be 100% okay
with fresh paper - sometimes grabs two sheets if second side or curled
paper.
With using the main tray underneath...
