Gilgamesh
Hello,
I'm looking for a good quiet CPU heatsink for the above motherboard, I
have the Intel E8500 CPU. I have seen some heatsinks such as Thermalright
Ultra 120 eXtreme but they want me to remove the crazy cooling heatpipes to
fit it in.
Does anyone know of another heatsink that is at...

Reliable power supplies with LOTs of connectors by
R[_3_]
I need to power up about 9 or 10 hard drives in a tower case. Both
regular ide (molex) and sata. I could probably get by with about 500W
or above.
I've been using Antec Neo-series power supplies, but have had some
trouble with connector reliability. Which manufacturer's supplies
would be most...

Case Temp Sensor by

GA 7VT600 1394
Can someone tell me if this is the correct sensor for the case

I believe this is the one for the CPU but not sure about the other,
sis950/ITE8705F 3diode.
There is another sensor, sis950/ITE8705F 2, which reports 28C. This is more
in line with what a...

Hi. Not sure if this is a motherboard, OS, or hard drive problem, but I've tried a few message boards with no luck.
I am trying to add a new hard drive to an existing RAID setup. I don't want this to be part of the array I already have...I just want to have some more space without re-installing...

Dilemma time.
Mainboard has header for S/PDIF cable. No cable comes with mainboard.
Manual says to contact retailer to order one. I contact retailer.
Retailer doesn't respond to simple question: do you carry said cable
and what is its price. Each reply gets stranger and stranger.
Repeatedly I am...

Am I alone with this problem? When XP Pro (with SP1
slipstreamed) is installed, the PC powers down just fine, always
has. When XP Pro with SP2 slipstreamed is installed the PC will
not power down, it goes to a black screen and the only way to shut
it off is to hold the power button in. In this...

I'm running a p4 2.8ghz on a GA-8IK1100 (875P) m/board. Easytune 4 reports
