[7VAXP] How to use SPDIF output ? by

Hi folks,
My PC has a 7VAXP with SPDIF output, but I cannot seem to get something on
SPDIF coax output under W2000 + media player. My digital preamp (NAD 118)
seems to have problems synchronising with PC data stream.
- In the sound control panel, I selected SPDIF output and made sure "mute"

Hi,
I have two gigabyte MB's
Ga8IRXP and GAIEXP with award bios .On other non gigabyte MB's with therir
bios I was able to state a user password that would prevent the sytstem from
booting at all unless you entered the password.
Here instead I seem to be able only to protect access to the bios...

strange 965p-ds3 power up problem by

When I power up my PC (DS3 v1.0, C2D E6600) today, the system did not
boot. The system seems to have power for 1~2 seconds then off for few
seconds and this cycle keep repeating until I pull the plug at the back.
I have disconnected all the hard drive but the system remains the same.

Windows XP SP1 just fine, but when I try to install Windows 2003 Standard
Server, the installation constantly blue-screens or complains that files are

8KNXP BIOS F5->F6 by

I have updated my MAIN BIOS to version F6 using QFlash.
Before doing so, I have copied the F5 BIOS to the BACKUP BIOS.
Now, under Windows XP, I see with "Gigabyte @BIOS Writer": Intel i875P
AGPSet BIOS for 8KNXP F6 AWARD BIOS Fine ;-)
But the "DMI Information tool" displays F5 as BIOS...

I think that this is a new one. Continuous long beeps, presumably
dram errors, but ONLY when the computer boots up in XP safe mode.
Any ideas?

Windows XP is unable to detect a PCI modem in my 8KNXP motherboard. The
motherboard came with the F9 bios. When viewing the IRQ assignments (all set
