8KNXP SATA Raid - Partition Format by EFK
I just started looking into the SATA Raid manual for this board. It explains how to set up SATA Raid in the BIOS, but once the Raid array is setup, it states that the partitioning and formatting of the drives is done in Windows (using XP). I don't see how this can happen, when XP won't even be...

Installing one SATA drive on an 8KNXP by Thomas S
I have an 8KNXP system in which an IDE drive is the boot drive and another IDE is a secondary. I have a WD 1200 JD and would like to install that as a third non-boot drive. The hardware connections hopefully won't be a problem. I assume I can use the SATA1_SB Intel connector on the mb. But what...

GA-MA78GM-SH2 RAID question by Matthew[_3_]
I have 3 SATA drives and I want to set up the first in IDE mode with the OS on it and the other 2 in a RAID0 as a file storage drive for very large files. But when I go into the setup for the RAID it looks like it's either all RAID or all IDE... I can't seem to find a way to mix the 2 at all.

KT880 looses HDD's every once in a while. by Henry Padilla
I have an MSI KT880 Delta. My first question is: is this board any good? I was broke and it was the cheapest board at the time. Second question: anyone have experience with PC Chip boards? Good? Bad? Indifferent? Third question: Any idea why my current KT880 keeps loosing track of my HDD's? ...

On board sound by Ted Kulinski
I tried the integrated sound on a GA-7VAXP. Your board may use the same chip--I don't know. My 7vaxp was using the realtek driver. My sound is hooked up to high end stereo. As for fidelity, it sounded every bit as good as the Aural Vortex which I have used for several years now. On Wed, 30 Jul...

7VTXH+ - Bad BIOS Flash by Orange Barrel
I am in BIOS hell. Through a comedy of errors, I have managed to trash the main and backup BIOS on a 7VTXH+. To add insult to injury, I ordered two pre-flashed BIOS chips from BadFlash.com only to find out after the fact that the original BIOS chips are soldered to the mobo. Bleh. In any event,...
