Logitech Quickcam Express & Yahoo Messenger by
DanOne
Hi group,
My cam works fine in other applications like TimerShot and VisionGS.
However, it doesn't work with Yahoo messenger. I only get a black view with
some white line rubbish at the top. Running XP(Pro). What could be the
cause?
Any help will be appreciated.

Problems installing Connectix Color QuickCam for Mac OS 8.6 by
Patrizia Putalivo
I have recently purchased a Color QuickCam and tried to install it on my
Mac 6500. The problem I am encountering is I cannot open any icon within
my WebCam folder because I get an error message stating that I do not have
Movie Grabber. It then tries to get it from the web but it fails. How can
I...

What camera should I use? by
JohnS
Hi,
I'm trying to develop a kiosk-type application that begins with the
person looking at a camera mounted above the computer screen and
seeing his/her own image. When happy he clicks a button to take a
photograph.
The image needs to be 640x480 and optically zoomed so that his head
fills most of...

but if I try to run both together on the same PC they get very...

quickcam pro 4000 by
Tom
I can get the video to work on my logitech quickcam pro 4000 but the sound
doesn't. I am trying to "video conference" using MSN 6.1. I have seen that
other people have this issue. Does anyone have it working for both video and
sound? I am running XP pro. Logitech support is the pits!
Thanks,
Tom

Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000 - Flat Screen Attachment by
Gareth Evans
I have a Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000, one of the earlier versions that
did not come with the new flat screen monitor stand attachment. I was
just wondering whether anyone not using this attachment would like to
sell theirs to me.
Thanks,
Gareth

Firewire Cam Problem by
PC
Hi,
I couldn't resist buying a D-Link NetQam Firewire 350 webcam from Morgans
for the princely sum of £9.99 +VAT.
It came with a piece of paper advising that there would be an error report
on loading the driver onto an XP system and that the OS would say that it is
only compatible with W98, 98SE,...

Linux support for Logitech Quickcam Messenger? by

Is there any progress in developing a driver for the Logitech Quickcam
Messenger cam in Linux yet?
I have no experience in writing drivers, but if there are any who do,
but don't have the camera, I'm willing to assist in any way I can.
I might even learn something... :-)

Any camera lens will have its sharpness ruined if it is not shaded or
