Epson Stylus Pro (not XL)
I just wonder, is this printer worth using? I just
found it in a dumpster in perfect condition with
no ink installed, should I risk buying some to try
it out? It only does 720x720 so it might be good
for painting art I suppose, or grainy B/W photo
art... whyaddya'all...

storage of printer... by
aardvark
Can someone advise as to what precautions to take when storing a Canon
iP5000 for a period of a year, or longer? Should the cartridges be
left in the printer or sealed in zip locks? Will the ink in the
cartridges dry out anyway? Any comments as to how to store this
properly would be appreciated, PC.

Anyone compared the Canon imagerunner 6020i vs the 7200 & willing to share
thoughts.
Couple things i notice that are different is toner: the 6020i uses "magnetic
negative" & the 7200 uses gpr-1.
Do you have to buy the magnetic negative from canon? how much?

The manual of the HP Laserjet 1200 says I can print multiple pages on
a single
sheet of paper. The manual says this can be done by accessing
PROPERTIES menu of the printer. However, I found nothing in the
Properties menu that relates to
multiple pages on a single sheet.
Does anyone know how this...

inks for Canon I860 Color Inkjet Printer by
Aaron Epstein
I have the Canon I860 printer. The original Canon Inks that came with
the printer produced excellent color prints. When the cartridges were
depleted , I replaced them with generic cartridges from China that
cost between $2 & $3. each. The
results were TERRIBLE. Not knowing the problem was the...

Aaron Epstein
I have a Canon I860 color inkjet printer that has made fantastic
prints using the original Canon ink cartridges that came with the
printer.
Some of the cartridges are now empty and need replacing.
Are there non-Canon cartridges that are as satisfactory as Canon's own
brand?
If so, may I ask for...

Consumer Reports rejects third party ink cartridges by
Aaron Epstein
The latest issue of Consumer Reports says that while initial cost of
inks marketed by non-printer makers may be lower, they do not save
money because their colors are inaccurate and inks are less in
quantity.
Do those reading this share the same opinion as Consumer Reports or
are there some third...

is there an advantage to a new color inkjet printer by
Aaron Epstein
I have the Epson Stylus Photo 700 printer. Possibly 4 years old. It
works, but I find the constant replacing of ink cartridges a real
pain.
Question, is there any advantage to junking it and buying a new Canon,
HP, or Epson printer? We print no more than 6 pages of color work a
month. We...

I recently purchased a Canon i470D to replace an older Epson 880. Now
I'm interested in converting that printer to a printer for black and
white photos. I looked at the MIS website, but they don't have the
880 listed as one of the printers that they make quadtone inks for.
Does anyone know if...

identical printer.
The computer repair person stated that fusers on the D320 were cheap
construction,...
