HP Printer Won't Feed by
Gary Brown
Hi,
My daughter just called from DC. Her printer (HP 3650) stopped
feeding in the middle of a print job. She can hear the usual noises
but it just won't feed. She tried fanning the paper then feeding in
one sheet to no avail.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks,

Is My Monitor on the Way Out? by
Si
I have a Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 930SB monitor and over the past couple of
days I've noticed a sort of ghost line appears at the bottom of the screen.
It moves up and down a bit and I noticed that, for a split second, the
picture contracts a tiny bit and then returns to normal. I should point...

Can I rip XP from Dell's I386 directory? by
[email protected]
I just got a new Dell 9100 system that came with XP Media Center OS.
Few questions:
1. Can I Ghost the system image to another (home built) non-Dell system
with similar CPU parameters.
2. I noticed that they included I386 binaries on the HDD. Can I somehow
copy this to another PC and run XP setup...

Question about udma 133? by
Connor T
hi,
I'm after a udma 133 ide cable for a dell 1u rackmount server, and I
can't find them anywhere!
I've found a udma 100 cable. What is it that restricts it to 133? Will
it work at 133? If not will i lose anything noticably? I'm planning on
using software raid so this could be critical!

Intel or Amd, best for power consumption? by
Albert Grennock
I am considering which to but.
One issue which concerns me is the power consumption, somoething
most people probably don't even think about when buying because
they think it is insignigicant.
Anyway a quick calculation, I am assuming my PC will be on about
16 hours a day on average (probablyon...

CPU fan problems by

Your computer CPU is it's brain......
Just as when riding a motorcycle, do you really want to protect your brain with
the cheapest product available?
Spend the money, get a good one. Your local computer store will be able to match
up a fair priced one with your CPU.

PC case question by
STARKWEATHER
Hi,
Today I got my PC back from a repair/upgrades shop and I got a new case.
There is a knob at the front of it, but the guy said he couldn't connect it
up to something (my soundcard I think he said) because he didn't have the
'book' for it. What's that knob for exactly? My sound works fine, so is...

RAM size - 2nd opinion please by
Greg Lewin
Hi All,
I've just built a pc with 1 RAM stick, nominally 1
gigabyte.
Evry measure of the RAM size, by every sort of utility,
including memtest, shows a size of 960 M.
It seems to me I should be seeing the advertised 1024 M.
