and am looking at the 4314R Storageworks enclosure. In looking at
these on Ebay I found that some have Ultra-2 controllers and others

Anyone want some Compaq servers? by
Rick F.
Apparently ElectroRent is ditching a bunch of Compaq servers ranging
from Proliant 7000's to ML530s to DL380's.. Not sure if the prices
are any good (might be a bit high?), but thought I'd pass it along
if you're looking for any :

Thermal Upgrade by
Jeffrey Alsip
I have been upgrading some ProLiant 1600's to dual 600MHz processors.
The documentation on the Compaq website suggests that I need to install
the Thermal Upgrade Option Kit (144003-B22)...but I can't determine
what exactly this kit does.
Can someone explain this?

Proliant 3000 (PII version) Memory Problem by
Roland
Hello
Bought a PL3000 with 32bit PCI and EISA slots on eBay.
Also two memory cards with EDO chips.
Employing more than 400meg of RAM bluescreens any OS (Win2k, XP, Server2003).
Tried a lot, also different MoBo, to no avail.
Anybody with an idea?
Thanks in advance.
Bye.

We recently acquired a PL3000 (PII version with the processor boards of

noboot" on the power supply (ten green and one amber flashes on the
top led).
We have two known-good power supplies but try only one at a time.
We...
