MSA1000 Controllers 218231-B21 and 218231-B22 by Will
Is someone here familiar with what is the difference between the original MSA1000 controller part number 218231-B21 and the newer version 218231-B22? Are there any reasons to avoid the older model? Are they functionally identical parts? -- Will

Stupid volume backup question.. by Rick F.
Hi all.. Since I'm pondering over the purchase of an upgraded filesystem with possibly a new controller, I've got to deal with moving my existing data (on 4x36.4Gb drives) to the new drives (either 2 or 4 of 146Gb drives). What I'm planning on doing is using my recently acquired DLT 35/70 tape...

Reliability of 4214 Cases by Will
In general what has been the experience of others with the Compaq 4214R hotswap case? I've had great luck with the earlier hotswap cases that did just ultrawide, such as the Compaq U2 hotswap case (using the holder style SCSI hotswap trays). But the 4214R has proven really unreliable for...

PL800e Upgrade by dougf
Hi, Recently I picked up a PL800e and found the form factor to be very close, if not bang on to an ML370G1. I was wondering if I could simply upgrade the system board on this server and still use the p/s or i/o riser? Thanks
