Brother HQ1200, HRC and Toner Save features... by
Dariusz Piatkowski
Hi Everyone!
I just bought a refurbished Brother HL-1650 printer. So far so good, it
prints great, hopefully it'll last as well.
Going over some of the features of the printer I noticed under print
quality the term HRC (High Resolution Control). I did a couple of test
prints with the HRC feature...

Drivers for Epson 2200 by
Rex McCall
Has anyone tried the newest drivers from Epson website only to go back to
your old drivers?
I did. It seemed I lost the option for sRGB printing and the saving of my
printer profiles. Or maybe I didn't search around enough?

EPSON C70 - Can I NOW use true BLACK ink with GLOSSY paper? by
Chris Wilkins
My Epson C70 does not allow true black printing on glossy paper with
the BLACK cartridge. The black with the C70 and C80 is a different
pigment ink to the colour ones and therefore will not allow printing
on the Epson glossy paper.
This was the case about 1 1/2 years ago.
First. Have any third...

HP845C blank ink print problems by
Frank starr
I don't know why, but my black ink cartridge prints faded like it' s
running out of ink. But, I know it is not.
I have a dual boot system, primary partition WIN98SE, secondary
partition Mandrake Linux (10.1, I think). When I print using Linux, I
have no problems printing black ink on plain paper,...

Access control for Lexmark printers by
Wayne Ware
Assuming that these printers have Lexmark ethernet cards (or have it on the
system board), you can set it up so that it will only make a TCP/IP connection
with those addresses you specify.
Start your browser and then enter the IP address of the printer. This should bring
up the web page built...

Laserjet for photos by
Sheldon
I have some clients who really want speed. I've never thought about using a
LaserJet for photos, but I know a lot of graphic artists use them, and the
results look pretty good when they print out a pdf page, and whatnot.
What's the story on using a LaserJet for photo-quality prints? Does it
work?...

Network printing with Phaser 540? by
Huey
The Network card needs to be authorized. It shipped with the nic, but it
is not enabled. You need to call xerox @ 800-835-6100 and ask for the
ESS (Escalated Software Support ) group.
There is either a part you can get or a code they can give you to enable it.
