How do I Force PAT..?? by
Muttley
AFAIK, PAT is automatically disabled by the BIOS/chipset when the FSB gets
too high to maintain stability.

System temp. sensor on 7VAXP by
Brightspark
Does anyone know where the system temperature sensor is located on the
7VAXP.
Using both Easytune and MBM my system temps are between 3 to 6 degrees above
the CPU temps and from what I've heard this shouldn't be the case.
So I wonder if it's just a that the temp sensor is too close to...

GA-7N400 Pro2 goes into suspend-mode on restart, power-on, and during XP use by

My board keeps going into suspend mode, and won't come out. I have to
restart the computer. Sometimes I have to press restart multiple
times to get system to restart. During WinXP use, the system normally
does this when I try to play DVDs, sometimes when I use Media Player

this drive. Has been running a few months on this Silicon Image controller

adding gigaraid array with existing ich5r by
BDH
I'm considering adding a stripe 1 array to the gigaraid controller on my
board which already has a sata raid 0 array on the ich5r controller.
I suspect it will go fine. Any suggestions or "tips" would be helpful.

Voltage reading way too high 8KNXP by
Stephen Williams
The BIOS reports the 5V rail as "FAIL", it won't give a specific reading.
MBM5 reports 8.13 volts on the 5v line!
I've tried a different PSU, with nothing unnecessary plugged in to the PSU
or motherboard, flashed to latest F9 BIOS and removed the DPS2 voltage
regulator thingy... all to no avail...

removable drive. I guess that would be ok too but if I boot to DOS from...
