Hello, I'mtrying to upgrade a DecPC Lpx 433sx by adding cache memory. The manual says that I have to add 8 modules of 32kx8-20ns and 3 modules of 16kx4. So I added 11 modules of SRAM, but with acces time of 15 ns, which has to be no problem. However, it doesn't work. How come? I have some...

When I plug a SAS pcie controller into the 16x slot meant for the second graphics card does the primary graphics card switch to 8x or 12x? Is it better to plug the SAS controller into the second or the third pcie 16x sized slot. Thanks.

17" LCD Question by Ben
I've got a Magview 17" LCD monitor. I am finding that it is not completely crispy clear. It seems to have a slightly blurry section, from what I can tell its in two spots of the screen. Can anyone offer any help or suggestions as to what I can do to correct this?

17" Sony CRT monitor smoking... by -=_ Antani _=-
Hi everybody, some days ago, I turned my 17" Sony monitor (CPD-200GST). Some seconds after turning it on, I heard a "click", then after another minute or so (with the picture still perfectly visible), smoke come out of the monitor on both sides. I immediately removed the power cord and did nothing...

19 minute boot??? by s_landa
Today, it takes 19 minutes to go from the "pci device listings" screen and the xp splash screen. (Before the "welcome" screen.) Usually this is the place where the "operating system not found" happens. Not today. I've tried Tune up 2006. Norton. Reg clean. All seem to fix problems, but not...

19" LCDs - .294 is too big. 25ms response time is too slow by pont
I really want to buy a 19 - 21" LCD this year. But I didn't do it. I'm picky. .294 of dot pixal size for many SONY or Samsung models is too big. 25ms repsonse time for these same models from SONY and Samsung is another reason I'm not buying one this year. Price has been dropping. But I need...
