Connecting Brother to computer via WiFi by Kurt Ullman
I have a Brother MFC-J$10W that I want to connect to my MacbookPro running 10.6.8. The printer is already connected to the WiFi and I can print using WiFi on another computer. My MBP is also connected to the WiFi. The MBP can't seem to find the printer via the WiFi. System Preferences show that...

Canon paper feed problem by KenK
My almost-new Canon Pixma MG3122 All-in-one has a paper feed problem. I get out-of-paper messages when it's not out of paper. I can usually eventually get it to work if I add or remove a few sheets. Any suggestions? Now I'll have to look for a Canon email support address. TIA

Is there a program to reverse black PDF backgrounds to print w/owasting toner? by James Gagney
I often need to print PDFs from school which were created with PowerPoint using a black background - which wastes an excessive amount of toner in my HP 3600m laser printer. If I had the original PPT, I would just remove the background. I have Adobe Acrobat 6 (the writer) but it doesn't seem to...

Dell 2330dn by Stuart[_3_]
We have a Dell 2330dn on the network and have just bought our first Windows 7 computer. (W7 pro 64bit) Dell seem to provide three different sorts of driver for W7 which are downloadable but when I connected our Canon S4500 by USB, Windows seemed to have drivers already built in. Do I install...

Brother? by Richard Steinfeld[_7_]
Sorry to be so negative today, but I've been going through hard times with Windows and HP drivers for both a printer and a scanner. Way too complicated and next to impossible to configure the way that I want. Installing and removing the HP drivers made a mess out of my Windows...

HP All-In-One problems by Phil
I have a 2-year old C309g printer that is giving problems. Trouble started when I changed the black ink cartridge. Unit gave a general failure error. Tried another ink cartridge with same error. I researched the problem in the Internet, and tried several suggestions: unplugging printer...

Pixma IP4200 question by Syke[_2_]
I would like to try printing envelopes (DL) on the above printer, but the manual mentions envelopes which are unsuitable, which seem to the ones I normally use. I think they're called Double Flap. These work in my other printer (HP Deskjet 950c). Any suggestions as to a suitable type? (In...

HP LJ3 paper jam by KenK
I posted this some time ago with no success. Perhaps there are now some additional new forum participants? Worth a try. My HP Laserjet 3 shows a paper jam error when I try to print something. No sign of a paper jam - I examined it carefully. I checked the manual and on page 7 - 14 it mentions a...

Win98 drivers for HP LaserJect P1510n by frustrated[_2_]
When HP fell in line with Microsoft's wishes and removed anything that said Win98 from their site, printers such as the P1505n became a problem for us. We have a LAN with some legacy apps that require pre-NT operating systems, and 98SE is the preferred one. We would like those machines to be able...

Default printer select in Firefox? by KenK
I don't recall having this problem in the past but I'm having it now. I have to change the printer when I call up the dialog to print something. Prints fine. But next time I print my previous printer is selected again. I tried Firefox help on default printer but didn't see anything. Lots of...

Canon PIXMA MG3122 problems by KenK
I just installed my new Canon PIXMA MG3122 printer. It uses a USB connection. It seems to work fine. However, if I turn it on my two USB disk drives, an external and a flash drive, disappear from my system. Say "Drive not found" if I try to use either. If I turn the printer off they do not...

Canon printer stops halfway through a print by Pixmaker
Hello, All: I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question but here goes. . . I'm printing a number of letter-sized color images using an old (but fantastic) Canon iP4000. I've done this for years but suddenly have a weird problem— Sometimes (not always) the printer will stop halfway...

Printing on Card Stock/Heavy Paper by JWil
I want to make some wedding invitations and my color laser printer doesn't accept most of the sample papers I chose because they're too thick. I've heard that some inkjets are designed for handling thicker or special papers (most good invitation stock seems to be 110 lb) with straight paper...

Kodak Home Center Software problems by Alan Cameron
I am having a problem which I think is attributed to Kodak's inability to cater for standard Windows XP font options. If you like me have a problem reading the standard windows fonts you can increase them from the standard 96dpi to the optional 120dpi. This works fine on all the other software I...
