Multi-monitor (cloned signal!) question by
Rin Stowleigh
I have only one game I'm aware of that uses OpenGL (Brink).
I run 2 monitors in cloned mode (for ergonomic reasons I won't go into
here unless really necessary) from my GTX590 to two separate monitors.
The nVidia drivers do advise that multi-GPU performance may be reduced
if I do this, but I've...

Best GPU for maximum memory i/o for TDP of 90 watts. by
Skybuck Flying[_2_]
Hello,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_Nvidia_graphics_processing_units#cite_note-26
Some other weblinks mentioned 90 watts... but it could also be different
depending on nm...

Blurry screen fonts by
[email protected]
Over the weekend I switched from an older Optiplex G150 running Win2k
with a low-profile nVidia Riva graphics card, to a NEW Optiplex XE
running Win7 Pro and integrated Intel video chipset. The fonts are
awfully blurry both in ClearType mode and with it disabled. The
fixed-pitch characters aren't...

Geforce 460 and DVI question by
Seasidepeter
I recently bought and installed a Palit Geforce GTX 460 1Gb - the sonic
platinum edition. While the card powers my Relisys tl795 r-u monitor
brilliantly, neither DVI ports work properly. I get a bright green
background to everything.
I've tried three different DVI cables with the same...

GTS 250 vibrating by
Ayatollah of rock 'n' roller
Hey all, now and again, my card vibrates and makes an annoying sound whilst
it does so. Let me be clear he it's the card itself and not the fan. If I
place my finger on the edge of the card, the vibration stops as the touch
absorbs it. I've resorted to putting various objects in the case,...

Which DP to DVI connector works on a Quadro 5000? by
P. Langholm[_2_]
I would greatly appreciate some help in finding out if my Quadro 5000,
which I recently bought, is perhaps not defect.
All functionality is apparently ok. My only problem is that I do not
manage to install a second monitor.
I use as a first monitor the Zalman monitor ZM-M220W. When I plug it
into...

Little bug in nvidia's sraa algorithm. by

It seems nvidia recently invented something samiliar but for whole scenes
instead of one little pixel like mine ;)
They call it "sraa" which stands for "sub-pixel reconstruction
antialiasing". I came across this term when I was
reading some Dice publications about frost engine 2 and Battlefield...

New PC by
shafi2
I am considering buying a new PC from Dell and the graphics card that comes
with it is a 256MB ATI Radeon X1300 Pro.
My current PC has a NVIDIA geforce 6600 (256mb). Which video card is
better?
My current o/s is XP and would be upgrading to Vista.
Thanks
