[email protected]
Big problem that I haven't been able to resolve:
I can't seem to run both an SATA RAID (1 non-raid boot drive, 3 drives
in RAID 5) array and a PATA RAID (2 drives in RAID 1) array at the same
time.
The problem is that the ITE PATA Gigaraid controller doesn't post a
boot screen if the Intel ICH7R...

GA-K8NXP-SLI by
DevilsPGD
I recently picked up a GA-K8NXP-SLI. Looking at the block diagram in
the manual, the one SATA adapters (looks like it's on the PCI bus), the
other four SATA ports are run directly off the chipset.

GA-SINXP1394 clock question by
[email protected]
I'm about to upgrade my system, and would like to solve a real time
clock problem first. The clock is running about an hour off, and will be
wrong again soon after resetting it. Some suggest that the battery on
the MB GA-SINXP1394 may need to be replaced. Any comment and suggestion?
Thanks.

RAID 0 on a GA-K8V Ultra-939: VT8237R or SiL3512? by
Pierre Cart-Grandjean
Hello,
There seems to be two possibilities for SATA RAID 0 on the motherboard
GA-K8V Ultra-939: I could use two SATA disks connected to the VT8237R
(Called "OnChip Serial ATA" in the BIOS) or two disks connected to the
SiI3512 (called "Onboard H/W Serial ATA" in the BIOS).
So my first question is...
