Jimbob
Hello

the new PSU. When i powered up, i heard a little crackle and saw some
smoke coming from the card. Anyway, when i took it out, i noticed a

TV out with 8800 GTX on Vista? by
Jack
I cannot get my card to output to my TV. I go into nVidia Control
Panel, "Set up multiple displays" -- and I attempt to detect the TV by
using the "rigorous display detection" button and checking the "Force
TV detection on startup". But the only option to me on this control
panel page is"only use...

Thermaltake W0106RU for 8800GTS? by
Guest[_2_]
I already bought it and the Nvidia website says that it is certifed to run it. I see no problems thus far, but I keep seeing things about rails and amp ratings or at least 29. Is that combined or on one rail? If for one, them how come Nvidia's site approved it? If for combined, how come...

Is it just me...? by
Guest[_2_]
...Or does the latest driver for the 8800gts make the vidoe look jagged? It is clear and the visuals are clearer (I am coming from a sli 7800gt), but jagged - only in 2D. Any solutions? I just got this card today and this is my first time dealing with Evga. I usually go with MSI, but this one...

Hot GPU and Doom 3 benchmark update by
Charles C. Shyu
So I decided to splurge and upgrade my 6800GT to a 7950GT. Put in an order
for the Asus 7950GT, which arrived two days later for only $6 shipping
(Newegg rocks). Here's what I've found:
- nTune now reports GPU Core temp of 55 deg C while idling, as opposed to my
6800GT which had a reading of...

nvidia FX1400 no longer lets me set backgrounds for each desktop by
lrkelly
I have suddenly lost the capability to use separate backgrounds for
each desktop. There is
a check box in the background desktop setting dialog "Allow different
backgrounds per display"
which is greyed out. If I set the background all desktops are the
same.

video problems on startup causing driver corruption by
RWG
About three years ago, on my home system I had a problem with a GeForce card
(and still do, just have learned how to live it), and now I'm encountered
something similar-looking at work, with a GeForce MX 100/200 (bios version
3.11.01.24.00) (on Windows 2000 as well as XP). What I discovered on...

Help with XFX 8800GTX SLI by
Ðave
Hi, as soon as I install my second graphics card the average framerate drops
by over 50%. For example, in aquamark 3 running the program at 1280x1024 at
max AA & Filtering and high settings gives an average framerate of 127 on
one card and 124 on the other when used alone. When used together the...

Dual Head w/ NVidia GF 7300 GS 512 MB by
[email protected]
I have a Dell XPS 200, that dual boots WinXP and SLED 10. 2.5 GB RAM,
Pentium D Dual Core.
I added an NVidia GeoForce 7300 GS w/ 512 MB RAM PCI-Express and a 24"
Widescreen Monitor. The DVI-D looks fabulous on it, in both Windows
and Linux (better in Linux, of course).
I'm trying to get the 2nd...
