hi all Im going to be getting an asus a7n8x deluxe, and i was wondering can i connect an ata-133 hard drive to the serial ata connecter, do they give an adapter in the motherboard box? And also can i conect optical drives to the serial ata connecters

I tried once and the bios didn't update, didn't spoil my other bios either. Is there a tutorial to follow if someone has a link a how to do it, whats needed for software, and bios files. I think I am cleaning my drive off anyway so a fresh install of XP is coming.

Hiya I have the ASUS P5B Deluxe , Q6600 8800 GTS OC. 600W OCZ PSU The machine is overclocked slightly. When the machine is turned on from cold the power comes on for a second then powers off for 1-2 seconds the powers up fully , the system then boots without issue.

If any one has had any luck getting the integrated video and networking working with NT4 (SP6a), I would love to hear about it. Eventually I plan to switch to W2K, but no money for that right now. I've used XP elsewhere and don't care for it at all. I'm reasonably sure I've found NT video...
