which card for best 2-D dual monitor by
Sheila Hoffman
I'm a graphic designer and don't do any 3-d or gaming work. My XP system
currently has an NVidia MX2/400 w/64mg RAM. It's been fine for my needs
until now. I just got an LCD panel and am trying to run dual montiors. The
card supports this. However, the drivers for managing dual monitor as so
funky...

P750 opinions by
Keith Clark
I'm using a G400 Max and about to build a new system. I'm thinking op
upgrading to a P750 in the new box. One requirement is the card run
dual-head in Linux. I see on the support site they have RedHat 9 specific
drivers so that's a plus. The G400 has been working great in dualhead in
Linux since...

P650 deals & availablity by
Sheila Hoffman
OK, so I've decided on the P650 now I find out no one has them in stock! I'd
prefer a full retail version over OEM. If anyone knows of a source I'm
interested. I'm also interested in the best price source.
Thanks,
Sheila

TV-out with my old Phillips-TV by
Andreas Buxel
Hi.
I think your Problem is not a Problem with the PAL System. The difference in
the PAL Systems e.g. PAL-B/G, PAL-I etc is in the Sound-Carrier.PAL-B/G has
5,5Mhz, PAL-I has 6Mhz difference between Picture and Sound-Carrier. You
must get a Picture, if your TV can recieve PAL! Is your Card on...

Keep The SEGWAY Off Our Sidewalks & Streets! ------ #randum by
Papa
You're the idiot. Creating useless devices to crowd our pedestrian pathways
even more is the last thing we need, and in this mostly obese USA such
devices only help make health concerns worse.
So get a life, a healthy one, and avoid Madison Avenue hype.

Matrox Marvel G400 problems under XP by

Hi,
When I first install my old Matrox Marvel G400 under Windows XP it works
well as a graphics card with any supported resolution.
I also manage to update to the 'real' XP driver with VCR support found
at http://adis.szm.com without problems.
But after I have updated the system and installed all...

Windows Server 2003 and 2 Monitors by
Marc Fauser
Is it possible to have a Matrox card and 2 monitors with
Windows Server 2003? I want only one large desktop.
Not 2 seperate ones. And I want the taskbar over both
monitors. Is this possible. With my nVidia this worked with
Windows 2000 but not with Server 2003.

Matrox G400TV field order in TMPGENC by

If I remember correctly, someone recently posted some information
about that indicating that TMPGENC uses the terms "A" and "B"
reversed from others ... I just love "standards". I can't find the
reference now, but I do remember a thread along those lines recently.

How do you set a two monitor configuration so that login screen, menus,
error messages, etc. appear on the left side monitor and not split
between the two monitors using Win2kSPK2.
