what drivers for Vista by
BigJim
I installed Vista U and the 97.46 drivers were included. Vista installed
these drivers for my 6600gt 128 meg agp card.
Everything is working ok with these drivers. I tried one game, Halo, it runs
fine along with Areo Glass. Anyone think that a driver upgrade would be any
better than what I am...

Reboots since installing an XFX 7950 by
Albert Wiersch
I've experienced several spontaneous system reboots since installing a new
XFX 7950GT. I bought this card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814150189
Any ideas?
My thoughts are either the card is defective or the drivers.
I am overclocking my Core 2 Duo CPU only but did not...

Hercules 3D prophet II MX Dual Display? by
Les Hemmings
Has anyone got the original owners manual for the Hercules 3D prophet II MX
Dual Display in .pdf or .doc or something?
Plus I would love to be able to download the original installation CD-ROM. A
severe Copernic session has turned up patchy results for this card. Perhaps
someone out there has...

at long last, REAL Tekken 6 screenshots and video! by
AirRaid Mach 2.5
in 2005 at E3 we saw a pre-rendered CG video of the next-generation
Tekken, used to hype the PS3. it was clear that this CG would be
impossible to realize in realtime, unless the PS3 had a G80~GeForce
8800 GTX in it, which it sure as hell does not.
then in 2006, Namco goes in the opposite...

Movie Problems by
Ritual[_2_]
I have a P4 2.4Ghz system with a generic video card (Cardex I think
they used to be called). According to Device Manager, the video card
is: NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX 4400 AGP8X. The display for regular WinXP SP2
use is fine with latest drivers from NVIDIA.
My problem is when I play a movie. The...

8800GTS or 8800GTX by
news.qwest.net
Guys,
I am building a new system and am up to deciding which video card.
Price isn't the limitor but the GTX is ~11" long which would go right into
my drive bays so is it worth the extra performance to loose a drive or two?
I am looking forward to playing UT2k7 and Crysis.
I would like to play...

Call nVidia by
johns
They have a tech support line at 1-408--486-2000
The SOB there will hang up on you, or try to talk
past you, and pretend he does not understand,
but this business of not being able to set full-screen
custom resolutions in the new nVidia drivers is
going to stop. The 8xx series drivers could...

VMR9 video playback too bright/washed (TV range instead of PC range) by
Ehud Shapira
I have a problem with video playback on an FX 5200 on Win9x. The video
is too bright/washed using VMR9 output (not overlay), because the YUV
range isn't extended to 0-255 and remains the original 16-235/240, so
blacks and whites aren't what they should be, etc.
This is a known problem with driver...

1440 x 900 widescreen problems by

I've seen a lot of info across the web regarding troubles with the
NVidia graphics card and a widescreen resolution. I am one of those
experiencing problems.
I have a Hanns-G HW192D monitor, with the NVidia 7300LE graphics card
in a new Dell. My screen resolution distorts the appearance...

nVidia Vista Beta driver 100.59 by
johns
I've got Vista Business up and running on a Dell
9150 with 7900GS. Not bad, but games are not
great. I notice the MS approved nVidia driver is
a 7xx series. That has got to be pretty old. I've
dl'd the 100.59 driver, but ... hmmmm .... :-)
Has anybody tried it yet ?

6800GT: Coolbits shows default Memory clock at 2.0GHZ by
Geof Lange
I guess the subject pretty much says it all: the true default
Memory clock speed of my AGP 6800GT should be at
1.0GHz (or there abouts), but coolbits tells me it's at twice
that speed. I'm running XP on a half-decent rig, with
Forceware version 93.71.
I've had problems with overclocking the GPU...

1440 x 900 widescreen support by
Bill
hi
I'm thinking of buying a 1440 x 900 widescreen 19" LCD monitor.
I need a replacement budget AGP card for my old PC. I don't play
games.
Can anyone tell me if all current nvidia cards support the above
screen resolution?
