Paper question by pergurd
Noticed at Staples yesterday, they no longer have laser paper or ink jet paper, it is now called printing paper "good for both laser and ink jet printers" That begs the obvious question: is there really a difference in this paper and how would one tell?

Brother MFC-8840DN by WJ
I've recently been in the market for a good laser printer for my home office. I generally was not a fan of multi-function devices, but with the need for a fax and the niceity of coping and scanning, it seem more attractive. I've looked at the HP 3030 from HP and the Brother 8840DN. Now, I...

HP 2550 Color LaserJet by Brad Bishop
Are there any thoughts on this (good/bad)? I've got an old Lexmark Optra R that's almost 10 years old that's starting to give up on me. I'm thinking about replacing it with a color laser printer (I just don't want to fool with inks). What I want is: * Reliable / Quality - I just want it to print....

Canon IP4000 cd printing. by TechDude
Hi, my father has bought a Pixma 4000 and has commented over an issue with the supplied software - which would appear to only allow the internal cd hole diameter to be reduced to +/- 10mm which seems to make the minimum hole 33mm. However he says the software screen states the maxmum outside...

How does the HP PSC 1350 rate? by Tom Haughton
I am looking at possibly purchasing a HP PSC1350 as a Christmas gift. I am sure that one of the magazines that I subscribe to has done a comparision involving this all-in-one but I cannot find a comparision. My question is how does this one stack up to the others in the same price range. How...

I need to get a new camera and portable photo printer for use in school to take pictures of students art projects and then print them for use in their notebooks. I know Kodak makes some printer docks specifically for their cameras and Epson makes a nice standalone printer. ANy thoughts on these...

Epson C84 Clogged Already... by xNokia3390x
I bought two Epson C84's a few months ago when they were just $15 after rebate with full sets of ink in each printer. I only opened one (bought the second one mainly for its ink) and after going away for Thanksgiving weekend I came back to a clogged printer! I can't run the head-cleaning utility ...

Consistency of Epson printers by Don Phillipson
This Epson CX5400 printer is marvellously consistent. Printing on Epson S0410544 ink jet cards, printing a file from Broderbund Print Shop 15, whether cards are inserted vertically or horizontally, paper set to A6, whether Landscape or Portrait, I get only half my graphic and a lot of blank...

Hi all, I'm looking for a replacement for our old DeskJet 610, which has served us well for many years, but obviously can't match newer models for speed or quality... As the subject says, we don't print a lot - mostly CD labels, bits of documentation I want to keep on paper, drafts of documents...

Can anyone suggest a method to print to any Deskjet model that might be connected to my PC, without having to separately install every single Deskjet model's drivers? IOW, is there a universal HP Deskjet driver for Windows XP with good printing quality?

Lexmark P315- Any Good? by frank1492
Couldn't find any professional reviews so thought I'd ask here. At first glance, this printer steps all over the Epson PictureMate because it is much faster, has an LCD image display screen, and claims to print at about the same price as the Epson "as low as 29 c per print." Still I am wary. One...
