What's a "BCI-6?" by
Richard Steinfeld[_2_]
Michael, who made the "BCI-6?" What is it?
Hint: Please always put the manufacturer in the header. I'd really like
to know -- I might be using compatible cartridges.
Thanks; Richard

HP 2350 Printer sucks by
Ropebender
We got this "All in one" printer about a year ago and gave it away last
month. Color ink cartridges would dry out in a few days if not used. You
could clean it and deep clean it 10 times and it would start to get better
quality, but by then all the ink was gone. Wejust started printing...

Epson 2400 or HP B9180? by
louise
I'm a part-time photographer looking to upgrade my HP 8250
so that I can make larger prints.
I've narrowed my choices to the above two printers.
The Epson has the advantage of being considered the
"photographer's" printer - but it also has the reputation of
using large quantities of ink and...

For BCI-6 Refillers by
Michael Johnson
I use prefilled cartridges from a supplier that applies these nifty
plastic caps. I have been saving them and thought some that refills
BCI-6 cartridges might want them to seal their cartridges. They just
snap onto place. Here's a photo of...

Epson C62 gear/mechanical noise when motor runs fast by
RoyTom
Epson C62 - grating/rasping sound when main motor (left side) runs
fast (not really noticeable when motor runs slow) - not the carriage
movement motor
I have serviced these printers before. I cannot see any jammed cogs,
clogged cogs or mechanisms. All the gears are well lubricated and the
head...

how to keep inkjet inks fresh? by
peter
I bought some extra inkjet inks (epson stylus photo r300) when on sale. It
would probably be a year before I need to use them. Is there something I can
do to keep them fresh longer? Perhaps put them in the refrigerator?

Serialized Printer Cartridges by
Ropebender
I hate printer companies who try to force you to buy thier expensive
cartriges by serializing them. My wife's Lexmark 5400 series printer does
this. Evidentally, it can remember the level on the last "x" cartridges
installed, and if refilled will still show empty.
I have heard only three carts...

For those of you who have access to a Staples store and have need for a good

$4.98 per 50 sheet package. It is usually $12.98. I've used it...

Quote from an article. by
measekite
When Kodak announced its intention to eliminate its "low-end" digital
cameras back in May, it didn't come as a shock. While they didn't
exactly specify what they meant by "low-end," it seemed clear that
they were probably talking about the C-series of EasyShare cameras,
which have...

The German company OCR supplies ink to various compatible cartridge
suppliers in the U.K.. The ink I'm using in my CIS is from OCR and

seeking portable printer recommendation by

As I am increasingly working away from home I could do with a smallish

spot colour. No need for high speed, mega photo quality or really high
volume, but...

Hi,
Since acquiring a new PC with XP Home and installing my HP DeskJet 882c
using the XP driver, I have been unable to "Print test page" or "Test
printer communication". All I have under Services are "Align cartridges"
and "Clean cartridges".
The HP Toolbox is missing.
When using the 882c with...

HP printer by
XP via HWKB.com
I recently got a D1341 HP printer. It will not work with my Vista laptop,
even though it says Vista certified. The CD will not be compatible because
the OS is Vista. The printer will not print. Sometimes it gets stuck and
sometimes it says "Paper Jam". What do I do?

Epson RX420 No Black Printing by
[email protected]
Hi,
recently the ink sign was flashing and it showed me the black was out.
I replaced it as I have before.
The light went out.
I sent a print and it it did everything like normal except actually
print on the paper. It sounded right and went through all the normal
stuff.
If I print colour the black...

Difference between HP Model Names by
Richard Steinfeld[_2_]
Hi, Bob and everyone with HP knowledge.
HP has used different series names for their inkjet printers. I'd
appreciate being told what these words really mean. For example, there a
Deskjet
My 970c marked "Professional Series"
Officejet
DeskWriter
Business Inkjet
