Question on Opteron PowerNow Driver by
Will
We installed Windows 2003 64-Bit on our first Opteron server, which will
eventually have eight cores. The HP BIOS allows you to start the system
out at 1.8 GHz, to lower energy consumption. As best I can figure, we are
supposed to download from AMD's site the Opteron PowerNow CPU driver...

AnandTech, the power is only a little lower than the 90 nm versions
and is about the same as the Intel 65 nm chips. This review also
seemed to indicate that the Intel...

Hi I started to get the dreaded blue screens and after a lot of
investigation I re-seated the AMD processor the problem was cured. The
problem now is I have to do this about every couple of weeks. Is there
a suitable cleaning liquid that can be put in to the socket holes to
clean them
Thanks Tony
