Newbie here...advice please.
Just want to set up video conferencing
so I may keep in touch with my wife and two year old
when I travel.
I'd like to avoid dedicated conference servers and software
that relies on them.
Would prefer peer-to-peer.
Want a consumer-grade camera, preferably with embedded mike.
I was looking at the Intel® Pro Video PC Camera.
The reviews of the image quality and ease of the software setup
were attractive, but it seems outdated.
Don't need pan/tilt, etc...static is fine, but would pay extra
for image/audio quality.
Please recommend a hardware/software config that I can
set up in a day with USB and Win2K or XP.
Thank you kindly,
John
