Does anyone know whether the picture quality would be improved on a
Logitech Quickcam for video capture by upgrading to a better graphics
card? If so, what is the minimum spec. that is recommended.

Thanks

I very much doubt it - the picture I got from a Quickcam Express and from a
Quickcam Pro 3000 didn't change at all going from a Matrox G200 to a
GeForce3 ti200. What does seem to make a difference with the better camera
is the light level - poor illumination leads to grainy, noisy pictures.

The graphic card has nothing to do about it...
For better image quality, you need a better lens! You can use the lens from an
old Super-8 or better, a 16mm cine-camera.
