I am considering buying a mitsubishi/diomand view lcd 17" monitor.
my question is there are a choice of 3 models DV172, DV173, DV175.
They all seem to retail for exactly the same price. In your opinion which
one would be best suited for photo editing as a main application? And also
how much better is DVI connection as compared to regular Analog 15pin VGA
connector?

I have a Mitsubishi DiamondPro 750SB-BK 17" CRT Black Monitor and
they're damn good!!! Nice flat screen and excellent
sharpness....exactly what I needed for doing my graphical work on the
PC.

If your after a 17" TFT (skinny) monitor then go for one made by
Illyama. They produce excellent CRT (chunky) monitors too.
